This class is your tour guide and map to identifying and releasing blocks that keep you form living in conscious awareness of Spirit and the truth of who you are. Sound like a trip worth taking?   • This course investigates who Jesus was as a man, and explores the connection between the historical person and the Cosmic Christ. The course focuses on three books: The Third Jesus (Deepak Chopra), The Gnostic Gospels (Elaine Pagels) and Son of Man (Andrew Harvey) and includes online discussion, weekly thought papers, and a final summary paper.

  • This course allows students to become familiar with and understand Pastoral Care and the variety of programs it encompasses in different settings. Students also develop a specific program for their individual spiritual community.

  • The nature of ritual is essential to the evolving spirit in all people. Students of this class explore the many types of ritual that have naturally developed in their personal lives and in society, and then begin to design ceremonies for deliberate purposes. These include rites of passage from birth through death, daily blessing, cleansing and releasing ceremonies, and specialized activities to support individuals in any life transition or crisis.

  • This course explores selected writings by three seminal teachers of philosophy and spirituality: Ralph Waldo Emerson, Thomas Troward and Emma Curtis Hopkins. These authors profoundly influenced the thinking of Dr. Ernest Holmes, founder of Religious Science, as well as many other New Thought leaders. Study guides help the student get the most out of the reading, and compare these earlier ideas with those presented in the Science of Mind textbook.
