Professional Practitioner Credential
In order to receive a Professional Practitioner Credential, students must complete 372 hours of classroom study from the following specific courses and areas of study:
SPECIFIC COURSES:
SM101 - Foundations of Practical Spirituality (51 hours)
SM102 - Treatment & Meditation: Spiritual Practices for Daily Living (33 hours)
SM202 - Exploring Roots of Science of Mind (33 hours)
AREAS OF STUDY:
Personal/Spiritual Growth - Must accumulate at least 30 classroom hours in Personal/Spiritual Growth
Prosperity/Manifestation - Must accumulate at least 27 classroom hours in Prosperity/Manifestation
SPECIFIC COURSES (The above courses and areas of study are prerequisites to these classes):
SM301(1), (2) and (3) - Inward Journey: In-Depth Spiritual Development (90 hours)
PP302 - Introduction to Professional Practitioner Studies (9 hours)
PP303(1), (2) and (3) - Professional Practitioner Studies (90 hours)
In addition to these classroom hours, students must:
- Successfully complete a one-year Practitioner Internship, which will commence midway through PP303(2).
- Enroll in Emerson Institute
- Pass Emerson Institute’s written and oral examinations, which are administered by The Mincks Educational Center’s Board of Regents
- Obtain five written testimonials of effective prayer, providing a case history for each testimonial as well as a copy of the written prayer
- Sign Emerson’s Practitioner Code of Ethics
